Ingredients
For the Base:
- 1 cup or 100g Seriously Low Carb Almond Flour
- 50g salted butter melted
- 1 egg
For the Filling:
- 3 rashes bacon
- 1/2 red onion (fry bacon and onion together and leave to cool)
- 80g grated Cheddar Cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1-2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 100ml Double Cream
Method
For the Base:
- Mix all together until combined
- Place into a dish and press to cover. Make sure there are no gaps or thin parts.
- Cook for 12 min on 170c
For the Filling:
- Mix together the cream, egg, cheese and mustard until combined, then add the cooled filling and mix again.
- Pour the mixture into the partly baked base and return to the oven for 25 mins at 170c.
- Leave to cool slightly before removing from the dish.
- Enjoy it warm for the best taste.
